F5 and A5 mandolins have these standard features, please see specifics for each mandolin
  • Master grade tops of  Adirondack, Sitka or Englemann spruce aged in-shop a minimum of 29 years​​​. A5's numbered higher than #70 are either Lutz, Adirondack, Engleman, Carpathian spruce, or torrified Sitka spruce or torrified fir.  
  • Back/sides/neck high figure western big leaf maple in-shop aged a minimum of 29 years. A5's numbered higher than #70 are either ​Red maple or western big leaf maple.
  • ​Premium ebony fingerboard with .080" nickel frets or EVO gold frets. Bone nut​. 
  • Premium ebony compensated bridge. 
  • Either Abalone or Mother of Pearl inlay and fingerboard position markers.
  • Hand carved to Loar specs, tap tuned and voiced to produce an outstanding sound.
  • Gibson style stamped tailpiece optional, price is reduced by $250.
  • Carbon fiber truss rod neck reinforcement, non-adjustable.
  • Quality German Schaller or American Grover tuners.
  • Gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
  • Standard hard shell case. TKL or Crossrock available.
